Advice from Our Sages

Our Sages advise before one embarks on a trip, one should go to their Rabbi for a blessing. One should give charity on the day of the trip. One should recite Psalm 121. When you leave your home, place your hand on your mezzuza and say “May G-d watch my going and my return" Take money with you to give out upon arriving to your destination for charity. This process is called Shliach Mitzvah a messenger for a mitzvah. This provides Divine protection. Finally always recite Tefilas Haderech the prayer for a safe journey. Our Hineni office will provide this free of charge. Have a nice & safe summer. Do not forget to pray for our brothers & sisters in Israel. Shalom, Rabbi Yisroel
