The last night of Channuka when we light the 8th candle is Motzei Shabbos, Saturday night, December 31st.  It is called "Zos Channukah" one of the holiest days of the year. The Holy Zohar states it marks the final seal from Yom Kippur. The Ruzina Rebbie says that one can accomplish more with prayer charity and Torah study on this night then one can accomplish with prayers during Neilah on Yom Kippur. On Rosh Hashanah we are judged. Yom Kippur the judgement is sealed but we still have one last opportunity called "Ais Ratzon" a time of favor when Sharay Shomayim the gates of heaven are open to ask Hashem for our needs up until the 8th day of Channukah. On this day every Jew has the ability to connect to Hashem.

May this Channukah bring us health blessings shalom and what the Rebbitzen would say nachas from ourselves.

Wishing everyone a shabbat shalom, chodsh tov, and a chag sa mayach
